Islesboro Police beat: Theft, animal issues

ISLESBORO - Islesboro Public Safety Director Fred Porter reports the following activity in June for the Islesboro Police Department. The department received or responded to 57 calls for service, 13 parking problems, seven radar details, three animal problems, two thefts and 32 other complaints. 17 parking tickets were issued.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceedings.
