Farmers markets at Pen Bay and Waldo Hospital campuses
ROCKPORT and BELFAST — Community members are invited to attend farmers markets on the MaineHealth Pen Bay and Waldo Hospital campuses this spring.
The MHPBH event will take place on Saturday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the main hospital campus, in the parking lot of the Physicians Building (4 Glen Cove Dr.).
The MHWH event will take place Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the parking lot to the right of the Biscone Medical Building (119 Northport Ave.), across the street from the main hospital.
Care team members and community vendors will showcase and sell a variety of products, including farm fresh eggs, baked goods, fresh seasonal produce, handcrafted soaps, lotions, handmade crafts and jewelry among others.
Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the Stuffy Clinic that will be on site. The care team members will perform a thorough check-up at a special booth to ensure their favorite stuffed animal is healthy and happy. Extra stuffed animals will be available for any children who do not have one.
