Dept. of Transportation conducting paving work on Route 139

The Maine Department of Transportation is performing paving work on a seven-mile-long stretch of Route 139 between Unity and Benton.
The work area begins at the bridge over Fifteen Mile Stream in Benton, runs east through Unity Township, and ends at Routes 9 and 202 in Unity.
All States Asphalt, Inc. out of Richmond is performing this work, which is expected to be finished by Sept. 14.
