Camden Select Board convenes Monday morning behind closed doors: Legal matter
CAMDEN— At 10 a.m., Aug. 3, the Camden Select Board convened for an executive session to discuss a legal matter. On Tuesday, Aug. 4, the board will meet again for a regularly scheduled meeting that will be open to the public.
There is no further information as the reason for the Aug. 3 executive session. Board chairman Robert Falciani said after the meeting that the board was in discussion for one hour, with no motions made.
On Friday, July 31, the Rockport Select Board convened for an emergency executive session, at 9:30 a.m. That meeting, too, was to discuss a legal matter.
The Rockport Select Board closed that meeting at 10:27 a.m., with no motions made. Town Manager William Post declined to comment further on the reason for the meeting.
