Lichens, liverworts, mosses, and more with Georges River Land Trust
Join Georges River Land Trust for a guided educational walk focused on mosses, lichens, liverworts, and fungi with Maine Master Naturalist Ama LaBelle, Sunday, March 8, from 1 - 3 p.m., at Gibson Preserve in Searsmont.
This program will offer a guided exploration of the vibrant communities living on trees, according to GRLT, in a news release. Participants will dive into this miniature world with hand lenses out on the trail if temperatures permit, or in the comforts of the land trust cabin if needed.
