Auditions planned for Watts Hall "Tales of Terror: A Halloween-Inspired Storytelling and Variety Show"

THOMASTON — Watts Hall Community Arts announces auditions for "Tales of Terror: A Halloween-Inspired Storytelling and Variety Show." Auditions will be held Sunday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m., and Monday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m., at Watts Hall Community Arts, 174 Main Street in Thomaston.
“We invite community performers of all backgrounds and talents to audition for this spooktacular event, which promises to be a hauntingly good time for all,” said Community Arts, in a news release. "Tales of Terror" is a unique Halloween-themed storytelling and variety show that will send shivers down your spine and tickle your funny bone.”
The production is seeking a diverse array of performers and acts to bring this original production to life.
“Whether you excel at dramatic readings of scary stories or poems, wish to share spooky passages from your own original works, have creepy songs to serenade the audience with, want to perform eerie skits, or prefer to dance your way into our hearts with a bone-chilling routine, we want to see it all,” said the release.
Individual acts should not exceed 10 minutes in duration.

“We want to accommodate as many talented individuals and groups as possible,” said WHCA.
The spine-tingling performances of "Tales of Terror": Saturday, October 28, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, October 29, at 3 p.m.
