Arts on the Hill returns with the Gawler Family Band

    ROCKPORT — The first concert in this season's Arts on the Hill series brings the Gawler Family Band up to the top of Beech Hill on Saturday, June 10, at 6 p.m. The Gawler Family is a fun-loving, folk-singing, fiddle-playing family from the heart of Maine.

    “You don't want to miss this get-up-and-dance show,” said Coastal Mountains Land Trust , in a news release. “Bring a picnic dinner, relax, and enjoy music on top of the spectacularly beautiful Beech Hill.” 

    All performances are free and open to all ages, but please leave your dogs at home.

    Arts on the Hill is made by possible and presented by lead sponsors Cold Mountain Builders and Emily and Jonathan McDevitt and partner sponsors Maine Coast Orthodontics, Bangor Savings Bank, and Camden Coast Real Estate.


    Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 12,000 acres, offering 50 miles of trails for public recreation.


    Beech Hill Preserve is a 295-acre conservation property, managed for the complementary purposes of maintaining its scenic beauty, historic value, grassland bird habitat, and organic blueberry production.
