WASHINGTON — The Gibbs Library presents the 18th Annual Student Art Exhibit featuring the excellent work of the student artists from Prescott Memorial Elementary School.

The show runs through May until the end of June. An awards ceremony will be held Saturday, June 3, at 11:15 a.m., during the 30th Anniversary celebration. 

Art Teacher Sherry Casas has guided the students, using a wide range of materials, techniques and inspiration to express their creativity in these works. The pieces, representing all of the K-6 students, were selected and artfully framed and displayed by Mrs. Casas. 

“Families, administrators, and the school community, please come to the Gibbs Library and join in the celebration of student artist accomplishments,” said Gibbs Library, in a news release. “This show is sure to bring on a smile. Congratulations to all of the students and their teacher.”
