Watts Hall Community Players’ to read of A Child’s Christmas In Wales

    THOMASTON — The long-standing tradition of Watts Hall Community Players’ reading of Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas In Wales is back.

    On Sunday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m., in Watts Hall, Thomaston, a gathering of readers of all ages will retell this heart-warming tale of Christmases gone by. 

    “All your Christmases will live again in the magic of Thomas' poetic language while local musicians Playin’ Possum add to the charm,” said the Community Players, in a news release.

    This holiday family event isn’t long but is filled with holiday spirit and will be followed by punch and cookies along with some singing of carols, according to the release.

    Admission is free. In the spirit of giving, donations will be accepted to support the AOL Energy Assistance Program.
