‘Huge Book Sale’ comes to Rockport library, Dec. 2-3

Event has passed

ROCKPORT — On Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 3, from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., the Rockport Public Library will host a huge book sale just in time for holiday gift-giving. The Rockport Room in the library's lower level will be filled with gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles appealing to all ages and tastes.

“Volunteers from the Friends of the Rockport Public Library will keep book tables stocked full of fiction, nonfiction, mystery, Maine-themed, exciting ‘specials,’ and more,” said RPL, in a news release. “There will be bargains galore.”

Annual Friends members will receive 10% off purchases. Only cash or checks will be accepted, and masks are optional. Proceeds from the book sale will benefit the Rockport Public Library.

Please contact the library at 207-236-3642 if you would like to volunteer at the sale. Assistance is needed with the sale set-up and breakdown (moving tables and books) and cashiering. Book sale volunteers will have access to free books.
