ROCKPORT — Do you wonder what the Rockport Parks and Beautification Committee does for the town of Rockport?

“Well, we are ready to let you know, and more importantly, to ask you what we can do to help fulfill your vision of a more welcome and beautiful town,” said the Committee, in a news release.

The group will have a casual Fall Festival event on Saturday, October 8 (rain date Sunday, October 9), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Goodridge Park (across from 18 Central).

“We will welcome you at our tables where you can see what do we do to beautify town parks,” said the Committee.

There will be free doughnuts and apple cider (choice of cold, or hot-mulled).

“Please stop by for the refreshments that we all love at this fantastic time of year in Maine,” said the release. “We look forward to greeting you.”
