CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center to host family autumn Ecology Walk on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m.
All ages are invited on this guided tour of Merryspring Nature Center to see fall foliage and learn about the ecology of autumn. Guests will learn how and why leaves change color, identify trees, look for evidence of animals and learn how they prepare for winter, and watch for other signs of the changing season.
This program is part of the Free Family Programs series at Merryspring, sponsored by Renys, A Maine Adventure. Space is limited, and guests must pre-register by contacting Merryspring at 207-236-2239 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Guests should wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, and be prepared to walk for one hour. In the event of heavy rain, this program may be rescheduled.
Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round. The park is located at the end of Conway Road, just off of Route 1 in Camden behind Hannaford Shopping Plaza.
