UNION — Union Historical Society presents Zach Fowler, of Union, on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m., in the Old Town House in Union.
Fowler is the season 3 winner of “Alone,” the History Channel’s wilderness challenge. He survived for 87 days in the rugged South American landscape of Patagonia, winning the half-million-dollar prize.
Fowler will describe how he qualified for the contest, how he chose the ten tools he could take with him, how difficult it was to be alone and how happy he was to see his wife and daughters.
All UHS monthly programs are free.
