BELFAST — Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust, Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital’s Journey to Health program for a Happy Wanderers Hike on Thursday, July 7, at 10 a.m., at the McLellan-Poor Preserve in Belfast. This is a 2 mile (approx.) out and back hike with moderate, rolling terrain than can be made longer, if desired.

Directions: The group will meet at the trailhead on Route 1. For the Route 1 entrance, coming from Belfast, take Route 1 south. The preserve is 100 yards south of the Belfast/Northport town line.

The Happy Wanderers meet on the first Thursday of each month at the trailhead of a Coastal Mountains Land Trust preserve. The hikes range in location from Rockport to Searsport. Each outing is led by a Coastal Mountains and Journey to Health staff member.

“We hope you can join us,” said organizers, in a news release.
