Event has passed

CAMDEN — The Camden Conference and Cushing Public Library will host Judith Bing and J. Brooke Harrington on Sunday, January 30 at 2 p.m. on Zoom. This event is free and open to all.

For centuries, European architecture has inspired designers around the globe. Confronting current challenges like climate change and social equity, European architects apply traditional and advanced technologies along with innovative design approaches to create projects of exceptional merit. This event will cover notable architectural examples from the fields of housing, health care, arts and education, public open space, and more, to reveal the scope and quality of European architecture in the 21st century.

The presenters are professors emeriti of architecture, J. Brooke Harrington of Temple University and Judith Bing of Drexel University. Currently, they are Center Associates at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University, and Visiting Scholars at the Aga Khan Documentation Center at MIT, in Cambridge. They live in Cushing.

This presentation is image-rich and will be best viewed on your largest screen.
