CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center will host a summer tree identification walk as part of its Free Family Fridays series on Friday, August 6, at 10 a.m.
“Tree identification can seem daunting to newcomers,” said Merryspring, in a news release. “Thankfully, there are a few tips and tricks that anybody can understand to better identify Maine’s trees and shrubs.”
This walk for all ages will introduce beginners to identifying common backyard trees by both their leaves and bark.
In the event of heavy rain this program will be canceled.
