Virtual Earth Day poetry reading: Farnsworth poet, art project

Event has passed

The Rockland Public Library presents a poetry reading, Thursday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m., on Zoom. This event is free and open to all.

To celebrate Earth Day, the Farnsworth Art Museum asked twenty poets to share a poem that would be paired with a work of art in the museum’s collection on the theme of nature and our connection to the environment. Join several poets from the project as they read their work over Zoom. Then, visit the Farnsworth’s website (www.farnsworthmuseum.org) on April 22 to see the art that goes with each poem.
