The Lincoln Home Has a New Look
Last fall, The Lincoln Home welcomed three new members to their leadership team; Lorrie Winslow, Executive Director; Brigit Cavanagh, Director of Sales and Community Outreach; and Drucilla Day Beal, Director of Nursing. The time was ripe to take a fresh and objective look at all the assets that have contributed to the longstanding, stellar reputation of The Lincoln Home, and to shape a well thought out path for the future. Working together with representatives from the Board of Directors; long time team members, Julie Adams, Director of the Culinary Team and Kacie Gallant, Director of Community Life; Kim Traina, from Jumpstart Creative, instituted a Branding Brainstorming Workshop. The results culled from the team’s ideas and insights culminated in re-defining the brand; and Traina creating a new logo and tag line that better represents The Lincoln Home as it stands today.
The Lincoln Home has been a vital part of Lincoln County communities since 1927. It was established as a home for seniors, where they would receive nurturing care, in a beautiful environment. Ninety four years later that basic premise has not changed, but has grown and evolved into a vibrant lifestyle for seniors who want to engage intellectually, actively and creatively. Situated on the shore of the Damariscotta River, The Lincoln Home connects residents with ever changing views of nature each day. Above and beyond all, is the consistent message of the feeling of family, that exists between residents and staff alike. Being a small and independent community fosters person centered care and caters to each resident’s individual needs and desires for a flourishing lifestyle. The culinary team consistently provides locally sourced, creative cuisine that is not only one of the highlights of the day, but also contributes to a resident’s health and well-being. The Lincoln Home staff is united in providing a life without limits, where seniors can experience lifestyle choices on their own terms.
The new look and logo, along with the tagline, Vibrant Senior Living, reflects and communicates the essence of The Lincoln Home story, rooted in tradition and poised for the future.
