Camden’s Emma Gutheinz named to NESCAC all-academic team

NEW LONDON, Conn. — An alumna of Camden Hills Regional High School has been recognized for her academic achievements by the New England Small College Athletic Conference this semester. 

Emma Gutheinz, a senior outdoor track and field athlete at Connecticut College, was selected to the conference’s spring all-academic team. 

All 11 member institutions of the NESCAC combined for 1,117 selections.

The Camden native’s institution, Connecticut College, had 80 of its spring student-athletes selected.

In order to be named, a student-athlete has to be at least sophomore in standing, be enrolled full time, and carry a 3.50 grade point average or higher.
