ROCKPORT — A pair of ice hockey clinics will be hosted by the Midcoast Recreation Center in Rockport over the upcoming February break. 

The first clinic will be the 10U clinic, open to those ages 7 to 10, with the clinic taking a deep dive into skating techniques and stick-handling techniques. 

At the conclusion of the 10U clinic, ideal for intermediate to advanced skaters, will be game action and individual feedback on areas for improvement. 

The cost of the 10U clinic is $45 with the clinic being held Monday, Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. 

The second clinic will be the 14U clinic, open to those ages 11 to 14, with the clinic pushing skaters outside their comfort zone as they working on the most difficult aspects of skating and stick-handling. Some conceptual shooting strategies will be covered. 

At the conclusion of the 14U clinic, ideal for intermediate to advanced skaters, will be game action and individual feedback on areas for improvement. 

The cost of the 14U clinic is $45 with the clinic being held Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
