THOMASTON — The Let's Talk About It book group, facilitated by author and mentor Lee Heffner, will meet Tuesday, September 10, at 11 a.m., at Thomaston Public Library to continue the series entitled "Where Am I? The Individual and the Community."
The group will be discussing Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.
From the publisher:
"A simple story of a ‘strong man’ whose life is dominated by fear and anger, Things Fall Apart is written with economy and subtle irony. Uniquely and richly African, at the same time it reveals Achebe's keen awareness of the human qualities common to men of all times and places."
These discussions are always thought-provoking and lively, according to the Club, in a news release. Participants are welcome to join for one book or the whole series.
Light refreshments are served.
October's selection is to be announced.
