The Vanderbilt Beach Resort has a rich history of welcoming guests and their families to Naples, Florida. For over sixty years, the family-owned and operated Resort has made its mark on Vanderbilt Beach, just a few steps from the Gulf of Mexico. Since Robert Moore's purchase of the hotel in 1968, when it was the only motel on Vanderbilt Beach, the Moore family has been extending its legendary gracious hospitality to thousands of guests, many of whom have become lifelong friends. Robert's son, Mike Moore, has operated the resort since 1976, and Mike’s son, Mick Moore, now is the third generation of the Moore family to take the reins and continue a long tradition of laid-back hospitality.

The 2019 Chowder Challenge will be held on Saturday, August 31st from 11:30am to 2:00pm at the Camden Public Landing during the Camden Windjammer Festival. Adults $10 and Children $6.
Help West Bay Rotary choose the best chowder in the Midcoast. Local restaurants and individuals will serve up their best chowder at the annual West Bay Rotary Chowder Challenge and you can be a judge. You get to try them all and vote for your favorite. Net proceeds benefit charities and non-profit organizations. Join us and help West Bay Rotary make the Midcoast better one family, one child, one person at a time.
