Camden Police beat: Arrests, OUI, speeding

    CAMDEN — Camden police reported the following activity from Aug. 1-12. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Aug. 1

    Cory A. Stevens, 31, of Searsport, was issued a summons by Officer Wes Butler for inspection sticker.

    Aug. 3

    Arthur M. Andrews, 33, of Camden, was arrested by W. Butler for violating condition of release.

    Alexandra Winsper, 32, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Officer Sam Butler for failure to display current inspection.

    Mark Rossiter, 59, of Union, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speeding.

    Aug. 4

    John J. Flaherty, 38, of Camden, was arrested by Officer Mark Bennett for domestic violence assault.

    Aug. 8

    Daylene Stevens, 52, of Camden, was arrested by W. Butler on a warrant.

    Benjamin M. Jumper, 31, of Lewiston, was arrested by W. Butler for operating under the influence and issued a summons for speeding.

    Aug. 9

    Stephen J. Palmieri, 52, of Foxboro, Mass., was arrested by Officer Paul Thompson for operating under the influence and was issued a summons for speeding.

    Aug. 11

    William Beck, 54, of Washington, was issued a summons by S. Butler for failure to display current inspection.

    Bradley Dicarlo, 46, of Bangor, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speeding.

    Aug. 12

    Richard J. Ellis, 32, of Camden, was issued a summons by Bennett for speeding in a 59 mph in a 40 mph zone.

    Ashley M. Willey, 29, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Bennett for inspection violation and failure to produce evidence of insurance.
