THOMASTON — You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, the musical based on Charles M. Schulz’s long running comic strip Peanuts, will open on Friday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m., in Watts Hall, Thomaston.
“Shultz’s long running strip, while light-hearted and humorous, centers on the very human struggles we all face when dealing with learning new things, leadership and all the every day challenges of human interactions,” said Watts Hall Community Players, in a news release. “Friendships are the underpinnings of relationships and help us through the tough times.
The show features all the central characters from the strip, including Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, Snoopy, Sally, the little Read Headed Girl, and of course, Charlie Brown.
Performances of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown will be Feb. 24, 25, and March 3, 4, at 7 p.m., and a matinee Sunday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m., in historic Watts Hall, 174 Main St, Thomaston.
Tickets are $15 and are available on line at wattshallcommunityplayers.org and at the door.
