Chief Larry Hesseltine reported the following activity for July 15 through Aug. 11:

Arrests

On July 17, John Curtis, 53, of Dresden for Failing to Stop for Officer and Operation of Defective Vehicle.

On July 18, Mark Cromwell, 39, of Wiscasset for Domestic Violence Assault.

On July 19, Meredith Anderson, 23, of Wiscasset for OUI (alcohol).

On July 22, Jesse Carmichael, 26, of Wiscasset for Domestic Violence Assault.

On July 24, Sheldon Davis, 61, of Wiscasset for Domestic Violence Assault.

On Aug. 1, Jacob Silver, 24, of Boothbay Harbor for OUI (alcohol).

On Aug. 7, Anthony Riordan, 52, of Bowdoin for OUI (alcohol).

Summonses

John Curtis, 53, of Dresden for failure to produce license.

Kasey Cromwell, 23, of Wiscasset for operating after suspension.

Michael Dunning, 29, of Bath for inspection.

Jody Jones, 63, of Arrowsic for speed.

Lisa McIntosh, 48, of Brunswick for speed.

Accidents

On July 25, a 2010 Toyota driven by Patricia Jennings, 66, of Bristol was crossing two lanes of traffic and was hit on the passenger’s side by a 2006 Ford driven by Wesley Wasgatt, 54, of Eustis, Florida and came to stop in the entryway of Big Al's Store on Route 1.

On July 27, police responded to a crash at the intersection of Hooper Street and Route 27. A 2019 Mercedes driven by Ross Steelman, 37, of Westport Island was southbound making a left turn when he was struck from behind by a 2010 Subaru driven by Vincent Pepe, 37, of Wiscasset. Police say Pepe was following too closely.

On Aug. 2, a 2008 Subaru driven by Richard Aloisio, 40, of Wiscasset was southbound on Gardiner Road traveling at a high rate of speed. A 2017 Hyundai driven by Gary Hinckley, 42, of Farmingdale was stopped in traffic waiting to make a left turn into the playground when he was hit from behind by the 2008 Subaru.

On Aug. 4, police responded to an accident at Route 1 and Flood Avenue’s north entrance by Holbrook Pond. Ann Raney, 64, of Evanston, Illinois was driving a Gray 2018 Nissan Sentra. She stated she was traveling north on Route 1 in the above area in slow moving heavy traffic and was struck from behind by Kelsey Ward, 21, of Abington, Pennsylvania who was operating a Gray 2005 Nissan Sentra. Ward stated traffic was moving slow and she was approaching the end of the hill, looked down for a brief second and collided into the back of Raney’s vehicle.

On Aug. 5, John Coffey, 78, of Wiscasset had pulled off to the right side of Gardiner Road to adjust cargo in the back of his van. The van rolled across Gardiner Road and down into the ditch on the left side of the roadway. The van was damaged. No one was hurt.
