Wellness consultant to speak on “Balance As We Age”
CAMDEN — Adults age 50-plus interested in improving not only their physical balance but their overall balance in life, are invited to attend "Balance As We Age: In Body, Mind and Spirit," an educational presentation by wellness consultant and teacher John Jenkins on Monday, March 26, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden.
Jenkins will discuss the importance of finding and maintaining physical, mental and emotional balance and how relaxation, centered breathing and elements of yoga and tai chi can be combined to achieve optimal health.
Jenkins, of Owls Head, is a world-class athlete and martial arts champion known for developing a comprehensive wellness system called the Tai-Chi Therapy Experience™ to address the health concerns of people of all ages and physical abilities.
