Watts Hall to present family-friendly evening of short comedic plays

THOMASTON — Watts Hall Community Players will host an evening of family friendly theater this Thanksgiving weekend with “Short & Sweet—An Evening of Short Comedic Plays.”

The sole performance will take place, Saturday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m., at Watts Hall, in Thomaston. The evening will feature three shorts by legendary playwright David Ives and two other short plays to delight all ages, according to Players, in a news release.

With a mission to bring theater to the community with the talent from the wider Midcoast, WHCP chose this fall lineup to bring levity and creativity to the beginning of the holiday season, according to Players.

Admission is free; doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Light refreshments available at intermission with donations appreciated. All donations go towards the upkeep of Watts Hall for the use of the community and further WHCP productions.

A true community theater, Watts Hall productions are staged by members of the community who want to be part of a creative team. If you are interested in getting involved on stage, behind stage or as part of the production team, contact WHCP at wattshallcommunityplayers@gmail.com.
