Warren Historical Society 2023 series opens with Dr. Joseph Warren: Doctor, General, Patriot
WARREN — Dr. Joseph Warren: Doctor, General, Patriot will open this year’s series of programs for Warren Historical Society on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 7 p.m.
Dr. Warren, a Patriot during the American Revolutionary period of our history, involved himself in almost every political event in the city of Boston. His practice as a medical doctor made him well known among the citizens.
“His knowledge of the city and the events that happened made him valuable as a leading patriot,” said the historical society, in a news release. “He would be well remembered if death had not claimed him at the Battle of Bunker Hill.”
Warren Historical Society meets the first Tuesday each month at their home, the Dr. Fred Campbell House, at 225 Main St. This meeting will be held in their meeting room.
All are welcome to attend.
