WALDOBORO — The Village Bookshop, at 25 Friendship Street in Waldoboro, will open for curbside pickup twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays, from 1 - 4 p.m., starting June 29. It has been closed since March due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

The Bookshop, located right in Waldoboro Village, features used books at very low prices and has at least one book for everyone. The Bookshop is affiliated with the Waldoboro Public Library with proceeds from book sales going toward the library’s operating expenses.

The inventory of books will be listed on the Library’s website by category. Lists of fiction and crime/mystery books are now on the library’s website, and soon the list children’s books will be added. More categories will be added as they are inventoried.

Please email or call the library and the staff will take your order and quote you the full price. Come to the bookstore on the days it is open to pick up your books. Cash and checks are accepted, but not credit cards.

Bookshop volunteers will continue to observe full coronavirus precautions. A mask at the time of pickup would be most appreciated.

For more information, visit www.waldoborolibrary.org or call the library at 832-4484.
