Waldoboro Police beat: Stolen medical marijuana plants, assault

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 136 calls for service from Sept. 18-25. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Sept. 19                                           

    Richard O’Keefe, 62, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Thomas Bartunek for terrorizing.                                                       

    Theodore Mills, 75, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Justin Hills for uninspected motor vehicle.

    Sept. 20                                             

    Amber Chaisty, 27, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Sgt. Jamie Wilson and Bartunek for disorderly conduct, refusing to submit to arrest/detention and indecent exposure.

    Sept. 22      

    Officer John Lash investigated an accident on Friendship Road at 6:01 p.m. Sarah Beaucage, 29, of Friendship, was driving a 2017 Ford sedan. The driver was traveling southbound on Friendship Road and for unknown reasons went off the road on the right, striking a bridge rail, and coming to rest beyond the rail. No injuries were reported.  

    Percys Nickles, 35, of Dresden, was arrested by Bartunek for aggravated assault.

    Sept. 23      

    Mark Carlson, 54, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Bartunek on a warrant.

    Sept. 24    

    Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen about stolen medical marijuana plants.
