Waldoboro Police beat: Slashed tires, accident

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 123 calls for service from Jan. 29-Feb. 5. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Feb. 2                                                 

    Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on Jefferson Street at 9:15 a.m. Kenneth Dunn, 33, of Bremen, was driving a 1998 Ford pickup truck. Mary Botherton, 67, of Jefferson,was operating a 2013 Chevrolet pickup truck. Dunn was making a left turn into a gas station parking lot and struck Botherton’s vehicle. Dunn was operating a vehicle with a rim without a tire on the passenger front side when the accident occurred. No injuries were reported.             

    Fuller is investigating a complaint from a citizen about stolen medication.
