Waldoboro Police beat: Drug possession, OUI, assault

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 135 calls for service from July 12-18. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    July 13        

    Daniel Simmons, 49, of Camden, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jamie Wilson for operating after suspension.

    July 14        

    Officer Nathaniel Jack is investigating a report from a citizen that someone sliced a tire on his vehicle.

    July 15        

    Danielle Brann, 25, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Justin Hills for operating after suspension.

    July 16        

    Steven Giles, 28, of Skowhegan, was arrested by Officer Dwight Jones for operating under the influence.

    Jones is investigating a report from a citizen about harassing phone calls.

    Derick Winslow, 29, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Jack on a warrant, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Nikki Gray, 27, of Warren, was arrested by Officer Thomas Bartunek for domestic violence assault.

    July 17        

    Daniel Nathan, (no age and town listed), was arrested by Jones for operating after suspension.
