    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Feb. 29 - March 11. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Feb. 29

    Brandon M. Johnson, 26, of Belfast, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Young Lane in Unity.

    March 4

    Corporal Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Burnham Road in Troy where a 2010 Kia ran a stop sign before coming to rest in a ditch. The operator was uninjured and the vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. 

    Anthony F. Nadeau, 35, of Steuben, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and violation of conditions of release on Atlantic Highway in Brooks.

    March 5

    Corporal McDonald responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Bangor Road in Troy where a westbound 2002 Ford crossed over the centerline before leaving the roadway, hitting a snowbank and becoming airborne. The vehicle rolled over upon impact and came to rest back in the roadway. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Sebasticook Valley Hospital with neck injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage. 

    March 6

    Izac H. Stover, 29, of Brooks, was issued a summons for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone on Bangor Road in Prospect. 

    Corporal McDonald responded to the scene of a deer v. vehicle accident on Thorndike Road in Unity. The driver and passenger were uninjured and the vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. 

    Corporal McDonald responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident where a 2013 Chevrolet struck a dog that entered the roadway. The driver was uninjured and the vehicle sustained functional damage. 

    March 10

    Thomas Bucklin, 55, of Waterville, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation and failure to provide proof of insurance on Waterville Road in Waldo. 

    March 11

    Jesse L. Fuller, 37, of Plymouth, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Swan Lake Ave in Swanville.
