BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported three traffic citations between Sept. 6-16. Of the three traffic citations, two were issued for speed-related infractions, while the other citation was issued for having excessive exhaust noise. In addition to the three traffic citations, the following activity was reported. 

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. 

Sept. 6

Steven J. Carr, 22, of Bucksport, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1 in Searsport. 

Sept. 11

Brian Lemar, 55, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Main Street in Lincolnville.
