Waldo County Sheriff’s beat: underage drinking, OUI

    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Nov. 10-17. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Nov. 10

    Nathan A. Gilbert, 43, of Searsmont, was issued summonses for operating without license (beyond condition/restriction) and operating under the influence on North Main Street in Morrill.

    Nov. 12

    Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a deer v. vehicle accident on North Palermo Road in Freedom. The driver was uninjured and the 2006 GMC sustained functional damage.

    Nov. 14

    Deputy McDonald responded to the scene of a deer v. vehicle accident on Brooks Road in Thorndike. The operator and passenger were uninjured and the 2016 Chevy sustained minor damage.

    Carl A. Burch, 46, of Brooks, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and violating conditions of release on Moosehead Trail in Brooks.

    Nov. 17

    A Belfast juvenile was issued a summons for illegal possession of liquor by a minor via consumption in Searsmont.

    A Searsmont juvenile was issued a summons for illegal possession of liquor by a minor via consumption in Searsmont.

    Annette Ames, 60, of Searsmont, was arrested for furnishing a place for minors to consume or possess alcohol on New England Road in Searsmont.
