Waldo County Sheriff’s beat: OUI, aggravated assault

The Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity Dec. 16 - Jan. 1. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 
 
Dec. 6 (late entry)
 
Sergeant Cody Laite responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on South Main Street in Burnham where a 2018 Toyota went off the road to the right before striking a utility pole. The driver of the vehicle is reportedly diabetic and had low blood sugar at the time of the incident. The driver suffered possible injuries in the crash and the vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. 
 
Dec. 16
 
Christopher Simmons, 35, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Lincolnville Road in Belmont. 
 
Dec. 22
 
Joanna L. Mehuren, 33, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Main Street in North Searsmont. 
 
Dylan Presby, 19, of China, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating without a license on Acadia Highway in Brooks and issued a summons for illegal possession of liquor by a minor. 
 
Dec. 25
 
Chelsey A. Coburn, 26, of Lincoln, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on North Searsport Road in Frankfort. 
 
Jesse J. Reynolds, 35, of Brooks, was issued summonses for operating under the influence, obstructing government administration, false report, endangering the welfare of a child, falsifying physical evidence and operating after suspension on Veterans Highway in Brooks, stemming from an incident Dec. 1. 
 
Dec. 27

John M. Ryan, 22, of Palmyra, was issued a summons for sexual abuse of a minor in Jackson stemming from an incident July 5.

Dec. 28

Allen J. Sanborn, 59, of Lewiston, was arrested for domestic violence assault, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, aggravated assault, and disorderly conduct on Route 3 in Belmont.

Seth M. Roberts, 25, of Swanville, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on High Street in Belfast.

Dec. 29

William Mclaughlin, 34, of Verona, was issued summonses for operating after revocation and violation of bail on Atlantic Highway in Northport.

Jan. 1

Nicholas A. Parker, 30, of Belmont, was arrested for operating after suspension and operating under the influence on Poors Mill Road in Belfast.
