BELFAST — The Waldo County chapter of A Climate to Thrive will have a public meeting, Sunday, Oct. 20, from 4 - 6 p.m., in the Ecovillage Great Room, in Belfast.
Climate Action Community organizers Jill Higgins and Joe Blotnick, coordinators of the A Climate to Thrive group on Mount Desert Island, will give a talk “A Climate Action Roadmap.”
A Climate to Thrive is a coalition of residents, businesses, and towns working together to achieve energy independence by 2030, inspiring citizen engagement, sustainability, and economic vitality, according to Thrive, in a news release.
