Vote for Ann Frenning Kossuth in Northport’s April 14 Special Election

Fri, 02/19/2021 - 7:45pm
Please consider Ann Frenning Kossuth, our friend and neighbor, for election to Northport’s Select Board on April 14. If you know her, you will know of her strong commitment to community, coalition-building skills, and willingness to work hard, all with a great sense of humor.

I have known Ann for nearly eight years, and I know her leadership style involves seeing a need, unselfishly listening to others, and bringing people together to solve problems.

This summer, together with neighbor Judy Berk, we set up a Facebook page for our neighborhood, and had fun getting distinctive, non-political heart signs from Beech Hill to Knights Pond down to Saturday Cove. They were, as Judy puts it, a "show of neighborly love." I have no hesitation in recommending Ann for this position, she would be a tremendous asset to the Town.

Like her mother, Mary Frenning, born and raised in Rockland, Ann knows what it means to work full-time while also working nights to support education and environmental initiatives. She also knows the value of education to give families more choice and opportunity - including improved Internet service. In fact, Ann recently stepped up to chair Northport's new Internet committee and now looks forward to partnering with other communities to improve broadband communication.

Please join me in voting for Ann Frenning Kossuth in Northport’s Special Election, April 14.
