UNION — Gigi Georges turned to narrative non-fiction writing after an extensive career in politics, public service, and academia. She will present her new book, Downeast, to Vose Library’s patrons and friends during the Vose or Virtual Wednesday series: Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 7 p.m., via Zoom.
A former White House special assistant to the president and United States Senate state director, Georges has taught political science at Boston College and served as program director at the Harvard Kennedy School. She and her family live in New Hampshire and Southwest Harbor.
