Phone service restored to normal Thursday

    UPDATE: Camden-Rockport Police Chief Randy Gagne confirmed on Thursday, September 13 that phone service to the business lines at the Rockport Police and Fire Departments had been restored to normal.


    ROCKPORT — Camden-Rockport Police Chief Randy Gagne reports that both the Rockport Police Department (RPD) and Rockport Fire Department (RFD) are experiencing technical difficulties with their phone lines on the morning of Wednesday, September 12.

    Gagne advised that all non-emergency calls for RPD or RFD should be routed through Knox County Regional Communications at (207) 594-5656 until further notice. 

    In the case of an emergency, dial 911.
