WARREN — An investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s Office will assist Warren Fire Department with determining the cause of a trailer fire late Thursday evening.

Just prior 11:30 p.m., June 20, a caller to 9-1-1 reported hearing a bang before looking out her mobile home window and seeing fire coming from another trailer on the property.

That other trailer, at 711 Depot Road, was unoccupied and fully engulfed in flames prior to the arrival of firefighters from Warren, Union, and Waldoboro.

Another trailer located just a few feet away was also unoccupied, according to Warren Fire Chief Greg Andrews.

Firefighters did so well at containing the flames and residual damage to the site of origin that the only other damage was to a headlight lens on the van next to the trailer, according to Andrews.
