The Regional School Unit Board 13 (RSU 13) will not meet Jan. 4, given the forecast of blizzard conditions.


 

The board, which oversees K-12 schools in Cushing, Owls Head, Rockland, South Thomaston and Thomaston, had planned to discuss naming the new elementary school in Owls Head, and consider approving a new special services coordinator position when it meets Jan. 4.

The meeting will be held at the McLain School, beginning first in executive session at 5:30 p.m. The board will then convene for its public session at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the closed-door session is to address negotiations.
