A group of Camden Lions met November 12 at the clubhouse to judge the 2020 Lions International Peace Poster contest. This year’s theme is “Peace Through Service.”

Lion Jerry Stone organized the Lion poster judging, and Jim Morse, Camden Rockport Middle School sixth grade teacher, organizes this poster contest for his students.

Avery Wingate Weeks’ poster won (service people standing on a masked globe) and will journey next to the Lion district contest.

Runners up are Ava Pease (the Eastern rainbow mosque) and Mason Contakos (man looking at service workers).

All three students will receive a cash award from the LIons.

“Thanks to Lions Sharon Flanagan and Karen Martin for photos of the winning posters,” said Camden Lions, in a news release.
