CAMDEN — Watershed School’s spring fundraising event, Under the Big Top Sale, will be held Saturday, May 25, beginning at 8 a.m., at Watershed School’s back yard, One Free Street, in Camden.
This outdoor yard sale will consist of antiques and quality yard sale items including furniture, watercraft, tools, and other household items.
All proceeds of the event will go to Watershed School’s scholarship fund. Donations are still being accepted, so call the school at 230-7341 if you would like to contribute a quality item, while raising money for a meaningful cause, according to Watershed, in a news release.
“I’m grateful for Watershed School’s scholarship fund,” said one parent. “Without the financial aid received, the spark and enthusiasm for personal enhancement and growth for my three incredible young adults would, most assuredly, have floundered. Whether it is personal interests, further education, or occupation, my children strive forward with confidence and vigor that can only be attributed to the education received at the Watershed School.”
Watershed School is an independent high school located in Camden, serving students who are looking for a challenging academic program in the context of a supportive and enthusiastic school culture.
Watershed is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, is a Maine State Approved High School, and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
