Troy Howard, Medomak split 7th grade hoops action

BELFAST — The Troy Howard “B” and Medomak seventh grade boys and girls basketball teams met on the court Monday, Dec. 13 in Belfast for a Busline League showdown. 

Girls: Troy Howard 21, Medomak 15

The host Lions held quarterly advantages of 8-3, 12-5 and 19-10.

Scoring for Medomak were Paige Gerlack (three points), Sidney Nicholls (two), Rachel Barbour (six), Grace Havener (three) and Molly Emerson (one). 

Scoring for Belfast were Hope Reynolds (two points), Kloe Luce (three), Jaedy Brady (three) and Emma Tripp (13). 

Boys: Medomak 41, Troy Howard 33

The visiting Riverhawks boosted its seasonal record to 3-0 with the Monday victory in Belfast. 

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 16-10, 28-23 and 33-27. 

Scoring for Medomak were Kollin Donlin (nine points), Landon Starr (seven), Grady Curtis (six), Noah Taggert (six), Landon Morrison (four), Brayden Nadeau (three), Gavin Taggert (two), Joe Wilcox (two) and Liam Feeley (two). 

Scoring for Belfast were Trevin Ripley (23 points), Justin Massey (four), Cole Gerrish (three), Brody Balicki (two) and Toni Fairbrother (one).
