Fri, 04/23/2021 - 1:45pm

BOOTHBAY — The Maine Department of Transportation will be resealing traffic count sensors on Route 27, in Boothbay, on Monday, April 26. The work area is north of the intersection with River Road.

Crews will begin working on the southbound side at 8:30 a.m. before moving to the northbound side. This work will require lane closures.

The entire project should be complete by the early afternoon, according to MDOT, in a news release.

These traffic count sensors allow MaineDOT to accurately count the number of vehicles that use this road throughout the year. This work is weather-dependent. In the event of rain, the schedule will slide to Tuesday, April 27.
