Tips, answers to gardening questions offered at Andrew Robinson Homestead open house

ST. GEORGE — The first Open House of the season at the Andrew Robinson Homestead, in St. George, will take place on Sunday, May 28, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at 945 River Road.
Dale Pierson, president of Pierson Nurseries, will be on hand all day to answer your gardening questions and offer tips based on his 50 years of growing plants locally.
Free plants will also be available.
Spenser Bees, from Whitefield, will be at the Homestead with an observation hive and a representative will conduct a question and answer period at 1 p.m.
The Homestead, barn and community garden will be open for tours. Admission is free but donations are welcomed. The property is owned and supported by the St. George Historical Society.
