see the land, hike the River to Ridge trail, enjoy samples

Thursdays in the Field benefits local Land Trust

SEARSMONT — Bluet, of Searsmont, announces Thursdays in The Field every Thursday in July and August, from 4 to 6 p.m., at 181 Appleton Ridge Road, in Searsmont.

With each $10 ticket purchase, Bluet passes all revenue directly to Georges River Land Trust, who maintains the conservation easement on the Bluet blueberry field where Thursdays in the Field takes place.

Ticket holders are invited to come see the land, hike the River to Ridge trail, enjoy samples of Glidden Point Oysters, Lakin's Gorges cheese, Dooryard Farm veggies, Maine Crisps and Bluet Maine Wild Blueberry Sparkling Wine.

Each Thursday features a special guest: on July 21, Sara Rademaker, American Unagi's founder, will share her story, along with specially prepared bites of unagi. Guest details and tickets may be purchased at www.bluet.me.

“This event series celebrates the wonderful food grown in our Midcoast area and the value of our agricultural land,” said Bluet, in a news release.

Bluet is Maine wild blueberry sparkling wine and we are a mission-driven business focused on stabilizing prices paid to wild blueberry growers.
