The annual town meetings for Thorndike and Burnham set for Saturday, March 21 have been postponed amid COVID-19 concerns. 

“The Selectmen have reviewed and have decided [for] the best of the Town of Thorndike, and for the health of the residents, to postpone the Annual Town Meeting that was initially scheduled for 3/21/2020,” read a statement on the Town of Thorndike website. “The date to have the Annual Town Meeting will be decided at a later date and please monitor the website and by email for updates.” 

In Burnham, the annual town meeting has been postponed with the town’s website promising more information to be shared soon.
