THOMASTON- Students grades five and up are invited to join Maine State Library STEM Liaison Christina Dorman and create their very own RoboPot on Friday, February 22 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Participants will design and make their own plant pot, and then rig the electronics to make it automatically self-watering.

There is no charge for the program, and lunch and snacks will be served. Pre-registration is required and space is limited on a first come/first registered basis and per Gizmo Garden's requirements. Visit the Children's Programming page at thomaston.lib.me.us or call the library at (207) 354-2453 to register.

Gizmo Garden is a privately funded LLC based out of Nobleboro that is committed to closing the STEM gender gap by supporting gender-balanced, hands-on computer science, electronics, and robotics projects for Maine students grades five to 12. Thanks to the Maine State Library, Gizmo Garden programs can travel throughout the state and are free!
